St. Aloysius Early Learning Center Q&A 

Enrollment and Eligibility

Q: What will the age cutoff be for student enrollment? 

A: All students will need to be one year old by September 30th of the enrollment year to be eligible to attend. 

Q: Who should I contact for Pre-K 4 enrollment?

 A: Parents should contact St. Aloysius Child Care Center for Pre-K 4 enrollment. All current families will re-enroll in January.  All new families interested in enrolling a PK-4 student should complete the admissions application found on the current SACCC website. 

Q: What is the admissions and enrollment timeline? 

A: All current families will re-enroll in January. All admission applications must be submitted by January 30th, 2026 via Brighthwheel for the 2026-2027 school year. All admissions decisions will be communicated via Brighthwheel by February 13, 2026. Class placements will be communicated in the summer of 2026. 

Hours of Operation and Calendar 

Q: What will the operating hours for the Early Learning Center be? 

A: Our standard hours will be 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. 

Q: What are the options for dropping off and picking up my child? 

A: The ELC plans to offer two options during designated times:

  1. Carpool: We plan for morning carpool to run from 7:10 AM to 7:40 AM, and afternoon carpool to run from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. 

  2. Walk-in: You may also choose to walk your child in for drop-off and pick-up.

Q: Will there be a cutoff time for morning drop-off? 

A: Yes. The final cut-off time for morning drop-off will be 9:00 AM. This will ensure all students can participate in their daily scheduled activities. However, the cut off time for Pre-K 4 will be 7:45 am to ensure all students can fully participate in instructional time. 

Q: Will aftercare be available? 

A: Yes, we will offer an extended day aftercare program from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. There will be two aftercare options including one from 3:30-4:30 and another from 3:30-5:30. 

Q: Will the Early Learning Center follow the same school calendar as St. Aloysius School? 

A: Yes, the Early Learning Center's school year calendar, including holidays and breaks, will follow the schedule of St. Aloysius School. 

Q: Does the center offer a summer program? 

A: Yes, we will offer optional summer care. The goal of this program is to ensure parents have high quality structured care throughout the summer months while also allowing families who do not need care to make that selection. 

Tuition and Fees

Q: What is the annual tuition for the Early Learning Center? 

A: Tuition and Fees will be published in January 2026. All tuition updates will be published on the center website. 

Curriculum and Academics

Q: What curriculum will be used for the Pre-K programs?

 A: Our Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 classes will follow the same Core Knowledge curriculum used by St. Aloysius School. They will also participate in PE, music, and religion. 

Q: Will the Pre-K 4 students wear uniforms? 

A; Yes, we will maintain the same uniform policy for Pre-K 4 students at the new Early Learning Center as the current Pre-K program at St. Aloysius School.
