Read and Accept the Code of Ethics and Behavior for Adults who Minister with Minors in the Diocese of Baton Rouge

Pass a criminal background screening (completed through the St. Aloysius Child Care Center office)

Part-time Teacher Assistants
​
St. Aloysius Child Care Center is seeking reliable and caring individuals to assist lead teachers on a part-time basis. The opportunity offers a flexible or consistent schedule including: weekday mornings, weekday afternoons, or on an as-needed basis.
​
Responsibilities include: Assisting lead teachers; conducting age appropriate activities for children; helping create a positive classroom environment; maintaining a clean and orderly classroom; engaging in professional communication with parents; maintaining confidentiality of children, parents, and staff members; and supporting the mission and vision of the Church.
​
Qualifications: Applicants must pass a criminal background check issued by the state of LA and diocese of BR.
​
Preferred: Experience working with children or studying early childhood education.
